Nick was born and raised in Massachusetts and has an avid passion for fishing, conservation, and the outdoors. In between his career in the trades as a licensed plumber/gasfitter he is on the water every chance he gets. He has spent the last 15 years fishing the shores and near coastal waters of Cape Cod for Striped Bass and Albies in the summers, to angling for big brown and rainbow trout on the Lake Ontario and Erie tributaries throughout the winters.

 

A love for teaching developed with Nick at a young age when he started coaching a youth hockey program out of high school. Later in life he would train tech school students to help them advance in their own careers. Guiding is a perfect fit for him, and he has found it very rewarding to help someone accomplish their goals.

 

In the recent years Nick and his fiancé have spent their summers fishing throughout Montana, Wyoming and Idaho and can’t get enough of it. Entering his 2nd year of guiding, he is happy to be a part of the YFS team!
